Look of the Week
Each week, one of our styling assistants builds the looks that they are reaching for right now. This week it’s Lameez, with three looks she loves for a Cape Town winter.

Look One · The Edit
French coastal style gets a modern twist here. Lameez pairs the Gordon Smith stripe top in navy & ivory (R 2,199) with YAYA’s loose fit high-waist denim in light grey (R 3,299), letting the wash soften the graphic stripe into something properly everyday. A denim Any Di phone strap set (R 10,327) ties the palette together, and the Victoria Berlin metal sneaker in silver (R 3,699) adds the fun, contemporary finish.
In Lameez’s words
“I wanted something coastal without being literal about it. The stripe does the work, the grey denim softens it, and the phone strap is really just there because I never want to carry a bag when the weather is like this.”
— Lameez · Personal Shopper, Boetiek
“Coastal does not have to mean literal. Soften one strong print with the right wash of denim and it works anywhere.”

Look Two · The Edit
Scandinavian minimalism meets quiet luxury here. A YAYA rib short sleeve sweater in grey (R 1,999) and Le Temps des Cerises jean 400/17 in blue (R 4,999) form the classic base, with YAYA’s woven bouclé long coat in chalk white (R 5,999) layered over the top for warmth and texture. Corina’s ankle boot in black leather (R 2,090.70) gives it a polished finish, and a JimnoJean timeless pendant with moissanite (R 1,380) adds just the right amount of shine.
In Lameez’s words
“This one is about layering things that do not fight each other. The grey knit and the blue denim are the easy part — the coat is what makes it feel finished, and the pendant is the one piece of shine I let myself have.”
— Lameez · Personal Shopper, Boetiek
“Winter layering is not about adding more — it is about choosing the one piece that earns its place on top.”

Look Three · The Edit
Modern minimalism gets a cosy winter feel in this last look. Different shades of white and cream come together in YAYA’s sweater with wide collar in wool white (R 2,899) and Gordon Smith’s Hudson jeans in ivory (R 2,199), keeping the outfit relaxed and easy to wear. Victoria’s Smash Animal Pop sneaker in cream (R 3,298) and Any Di’s SunCover in taupe fringes (R 3,427) finish it with subtle contrast, making it feel effortless yet elevated.
In Lameez’s words
“I kept everything the same temperature here — white, cream, ivory — so nothing has to compete. The wide collar gives the sweater its own presence.”
— Lameez · Personal Shopper, Boetiek
